Cooperation between EAS, EMU and AEC
EAS started a cooperation with the European Music School Union (EMU) and the Association Européenne des Conservatoires, Académies de Musique et Musikhochschulen (AEC) to strengthen the music education network in Europe. To further enhance the areas and levels of cooperation between these three networks, EMU, AEC an EAS have created SCHEME, the Steering Committee for the Harmonization of European Music Education.
Cooperation between EAS and ISME
The EAS is a reciprocal partner of the International Society for Music Education, and organises the biennial ISME European Regional Conference.
Member of the European Music Council (EMC)
As a European music organisation, EAS is a member of the European Music Council (EMC) and the International Music Council (IMC).
Partner organisation of MusiQuE
Since 2021 EAS is a partner organisation of MusiQuE, an external evaluation body dedicated to the continuous improvement of the quality of higher music education across Europe.
