Padova is a city located in Veneto, in the North-East of Italy. Surrounded by the Euganean hills, it is only 40 km from Venice, and it is characterized by several historical places.

If you travel by airplane there are two main airports that are very close to the city: the “Marco Polo” airport of Venice and the “G. Marconi” airport located in Bologna.
If you fly to Venezia:
For reaching Padua (Padova) from Venice (Venezia) airport “Marco Polo”:
best option:
For reaching Padua from Venice airport you can take the SITA bus direction “PADOVA”. You can get the ticket inside the airport at “BIGLIETTERIA A.T.V.O.”.
Another possibility is to book a shuttle from the airport to Padua: it is more affordable if you are travelling in group. Here below you can find more information on the website

For reaching Padua (Padova) from Bologna (Venezia) airport “G. Marconi”:
Take the bus Aerobus and get off at railway station. It runs every 11 minutes every day of the year price 6 Euros http://aerobus.bo.it/en#r1
From railway station take the train to Padova. You can take a Regionale or Regionale Veloce train at the same price (the second is faster than the first one)or eurostar and freccia bianca (they are more expensive). There are about 4 train per hour. The following link you can find train timetables:
