The EAS announces an open call, among its members, for the positions of the National Coordinator, for the two years period from 2018 to 2019, for the following countries (applications till 28th of February 2018): Bosnia, Denmark, France, Iceland, Malta, Slovakia, Romania and Russia.
The new Special Focus Group (SFG) SiME (Singing in Music Education) is pleased to announce that renowned voice researchers Professor Graham Welch (UK) and Professor Patrick Freer (US) will be participating as special guests in our inaugural Singing in Music Education launch in Jelgava 2018! The four members of the SiME steering committee met in Salzburg, Austria, November 18-19, to plan the SiME launch and to develop a shared research project on singing competences in European schools in preparation for Jelgava, 2018. Thanks to the kind generosity of the Mozarteum for making this happen and supporting SiME!
On behalf of the organizing team of the 26th EAS Conference, I would like to invite you to Latvia! The conference will take place in Jelgava/Riga, Latvia from March 14-17, 2018. I very much look forward to seeing you in Jelgava to share great conference experience!
