Gabriela Karin Konkol graduated from The Pedagogical Academy of Bydgoszcz, PhD (2000); University of Gdansk, MA (1995) and The Stanislaw Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdansk, MA (1992). Since 2000 she is a university teacher at the Faculty of Choral Conducting, Church Music, Artistic Education, Eurhythmics and Jazz of the Academy of Music in Gdansk; Head of the School Training Department. She was lecturer/workshop leader in: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Russia, Serbia, Sweden, Turkey and Poland. She is the author of the European Integration – Bologna Process. Implications for Music Education monograph, many articles, studies and chapters in books in the field of pedagogy and music education. She is an editor-in-chief of the series International Aspects of Music Education. She was the Head of the Organizing Committee of the 19th EAS Conference/ISME Regional European Conference, Gdansk 2011.
