Milena Petrovic graduated from the Department for Мusicology at the Faculty of Music, University of Arts in Belgrade (1998). Her master (2002) and PhD (2010) she took from the Solfegio and Music Education Department at the Faculty of Music, University of Arts Belgrade. She also completed the specialized studies in Music theatre at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts University of Arts in Belgrade (2004). The postdoctoral studies she finished in 2015 at the Institute of Education in London. She is the assosiate professor at the Department for Solfegio and Music Education at the Faculty of Music University of Arts in Belgrade. She also teaches music at the International Chartwell School in Belgrade. Her main fields of interest are music education, musical performance, psychology of music (music perception and cognition) and musicology (music origin, musiclinguistic and zoomusicology). Her experiences she presents at the conferences in the country (Beograd, Kragujevac, Nis) and abroad (Austria, Poland, Germany, Estonia, Italy, UK, Greece, Croatia, Bosnia and Hercegovinia, Republic of Srpska).
