The three-year BA Specialisation in School Music or BA Music and Movement develops the artistic and teaching fundamentals required for more advanced studies leading to a primary or secondary school teaching qualification. Besides focusing on one of several areas (Classical Music, Jazz and Pop, or Music and Movement), students build broad music and music teaching skills. A successfully completed BA degree leads to a three-year MA programme (lateral entries are possible). To be eligible to teach music at baccalaureate level, students are required to pursue a specialised teacher training course in addition to successfully completing their MA degree.
