The European Association for Music in Schools is a music education network. It brings together all those concerned with music education to share and exchange knowledge and experience in professional fields and to advocate for high quality music education accessible to all.
is a Senior Assistant at the University of Sarajevo – Academy of Music, on the course Methodology of Music Teaching (Department of Music Theory and Pedagogy). He graduated (2013) and obtained a Master’s degree (2018) from the Department of Music Theory and Pedagogy, at the University of Sarajevo – Academy of Music. Since 2023, he is a doctoral student in the field of music pedagogy (Methodology of Music Teaching) at the University of Sarajevo – Academy of Music.From 2013 to 2018 he was employed as a music teacher in primary compulsory schools and where he led music lessons, choir and orchestra classes from 5th to 9th grade. From 2016, he’s also working as a music teacher in an international music program “Superar” where he leds music lessons and choir classes. He is the author of digital contents for the first digital Music textbooks in Bosnia and Herzegovina, for the 5th – 8th grade of primary compulsory schools (2015/2016). Nermin Ploskić is an active member of the Musicology Society of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Association of Music and Ballet Educators and Artists of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, International Council for Traditional Music – National Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, regional network „Psychology and Music“, Organising Committee of the International Symposium “Music in Society” (The Musicological Society of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Academy of Music of the University of Sarajevo), Quality Assurance Committee of the Academy of Music in Sarajevo. From 2020, he’s a member and national coordinator for Bosnia and Herzegovina in the EAS.
