Jelena Martinović Bogojević

Jelena Martinović Bogojević is an Assistant Professor at the Music academy in Cetinje in the field of music pedagogy. She has finished studies of piano at the Music academy (University of Montenegro) in the class of prof. Vladimir Bockariov. In the same Academy she got her master degree in piano pedagogy under the mentorship of prof. dr D. Šobajić.  She has written many research articles, as well as two books Piano methods for beginners- experience of France and Russia (2009) and Bartok’s Mikrokosmos as a piano method (2010). For a long period she was interested in the field of music criticism and essays, and was a member of the editorial board of the magazine for cultural events Mobilart.   In the period from 1994. to 1997. she was the author and host of the radio program The touch of music in Montenegrin radio station Antena M. As a member of the educational programme of the Montenegrin state television (TVCG), Jelena Martinović Bogojević was the co- author of the cycle Music box. Her professional interests for music pedagogy resulted in textbooks for music education for elementary schools, as well as the multi-media book of poetry for children, entitled I will come from the forest (2015). For the last three years, she was the head of the project Identity of Montenegrin music as a basis for multicultural and intercultural development which is supported by the Ministry of Science and the Ministry of Culture of Montenegro.  Jelena Martinović Bogojević is currently a student of Interdisciplinary doctoral studies at Academy of music in Ljubljana (Slovenia).
