Nelida Nedelcuț

Nelida Nedelcuț is a university professor with a PhD from the “Gheorghe Dima” National Academy of Music. She teaches Music Theory and Project Management.

She is Vice-Rector for Scientific Research at the Academy. She also leads several organizations: the Excellence Centre for Music Education, the International Conference “Arts and Education,” and the Romanian Society for Music Education.

She has taken part in over 50 conferences across Europe on education and e-learning. She is a member of EDEN (European Distance Learning and E-learning Network) and ISME (International Society of Music Education).

She earned her PhD in 1997 with a thesis on piano notation in 20th-century Romanian music. She has written 10 books and many teaching materials published by MediaMusica, and she has published studies and articles in musicology.

She works to introduce new technologies in music education and distance learning. She also holds certificates in Cultural Management (Bayreuth, Germany) and Intercultural Management in Adult Education (Maastricht, the Netherlands). She has contributed to national and international projects such as Phare, TheNUCE, EULLEARN, VEMUS, PRELUDE, and DIMA.
