AEC – Empowering Artists as Makers in Society (2022-2025)
The ARTEMIS Digitisation Working Group is composed of 8 people from 5 European countries and one non-European (Thailand). 2 are members of the EAS: Sandrine Desmurs, the group leader, and Philipp Ahner, who is also the lead of the EAS special focus group Digital Technology in Music Education (DigiTiME). Working group 5’s main goal is to support the digitisation process in Higher Music Education. For that, they are collecting data (launching a survey for students’ digital needs, and interviewing experts. Webinars will be organised during the 23-24 school year, and they will try to create links between different networks, IT professionals, teachers and leaders, and relay interesting experiences and resources probably on a new web platform.
They delivered a workshop November 2022 which helped define the topic around 4 axes (digital as creative medium, digital audience, digital skills for musicians, digital learning and teaching) – which will be used for further interventions (and hope to create a version available to all online on the platform. To start networking, they are already collaborating with other working group of the ARTEMIS project and other AEC projects on digitisation.
