The fourth edition of the European Day of Music in Schools took place on 14 March 2025.
Over 10,000 participants celebrated the fact that music is part of schools across Europe (and beyond), emphasising the importance of high-quality music education for both the musical and broader development of children.
The day featured an online kick-off event to launch the sharing of videos showcasing what music education sounds and looks like in schools across Europe, unlocking the voices of many students and their teachers.

You can still share your videos with us until 25 April 2025. Follow the instructions below to submit your video.
- Participate by showing what music education looks and sounds like in your school
- Your students can perform or share artwork that is suitable for their age group.
- Record as a video (MP4) or Audio (MP3).
- To convert MP3 to MP4 create a slide show of images of performance group, your school or community and use the audio recording as backing. Then export as an MP4. Remember to get permission from the students to share their images online (follow your country’s guidelines).
- Upload your own/school’s channel on http://www.YouTube.com
- The FORM requires your email address, name, address of your school, URL of the YouTube video (copy and paste from your browser and include http).
- The opening ceremony of EuDaMus’25 will take place at 11am CET on Friday 14th March, 2025.

- Approximately 4,100 people (teachers, students, others) took part in the online event
- 345 videos were shared, showing what music (education) looks and sounds like in European schools
- Approximately 13,500 people (teachers, students, others) were involved in creating the videos
