The position of Staff Leader for the DSF is available for the period 2027–2030 (work relating to the EAS conferences of 2027, 2028, 2029 and 2030).

Key Criteria for Selection
- Will have been an active member of the EAS network for at least 2 years;
- Will have already been involved in supervising doctoral students in music education;
- Will have experience of work with an international dimension;
- Will be concerned to enable the ‘doctoral student voice’.
Secondary Criteria for Selection
- Geographical spread: preferably having two staff members from different national scientific communities;
- Experience across differing approaches to research (e. g. methodologies).

The closing date for applications is Thursday, 30th April 2026.
The selection will be made by the current Doctoral Student Forum team and the Board.
Applicants should expect to be notified of the result by Friday, 15th May 2026.
