TEAM was developed as a pan-European research and development project bringing together school music education and initial and continuing music teacher education. Over the past three years, partners have explored how music education and music teacher education can respond to changing societies and future challenges – working on topics including future-making, sustainability, digitalisation, intercultural learning, international mobility and school internships, future-oriented competences, curriculum development and advocacy, as well as comparative perspectives on music education across Europe.

And now, much of this work has been brought together in one place. The TEAM website is currently entering its final stage of development and is already (and still becoming) a rich collection of the project’s work: Teaching Material for Future-Making, Student Mobility, The Mobility Designer, Publications, School Internships Abroad, Learning Outcomes for Music Teacher Education in Europe and Mapping of Music Education and Music Teacher Education in Europe. So this is a good moment to visit the website – and, ideally, to give yourself some time to really explore it.

TEAM may have reached the end of its official project period, but its resources, publications, ideas and connections are there to be explored, shared and – hopefully – carried forward into new collaborations across European music education.
