A new EAS board!

On Friday 17/05/2019, a new EAS board has been elected by the EAS members! The new board was announced at the conference dinner in Malmö, Sweden.

The new board (2019-2021) consists of Thomas De Baets (President, BE), Isolde Malmberg (Vice President, DE), Gerhard Sammer (Past President, DE), Marina Gall (Secretary, UK), Lina Van Dooren (Treasurer, SE), Andreas Bernhofer (AT), Rūta Girdzijauskienė (LT), Sezen Özeke (TR), Nikos Zafranas (GR) and coopted board members Michele Biasutti (IT), Māra Vaickovska (student, LV), and Diletta Bibbo (student, IT).

EAS Board Election 2019 in a Digital Format

logo-easIn 2019, the EAS Board will be newly elected. The first time ever, the election will be done digitally with the online elction tool “Electionbuddy”. The elections opens on April 15, 12 am and ends on May 16, 6 pm, the day before the General Meeting at the EAS Conference in Malmö. Every member, who paid his membership fee for 2019, will receive an individual link and access code to vote. This gives the possibility to vote, even when you are not attending the EAS Conference. Open Call for Position of 2nd Staff Member of the EAS Doctoral Student Forum (DSF)

The position of the 2nd Staff Member for the DSF is available for the period 2019-2023 (work relating to the EAS conferences of 2020 to 2023). The person selected will be expected to work with Isolde Malmberg (DE) then take on the DSF Lead position for the conferences of 2022 & 2023.
