Preparations for the sixth European Day of Music in Schools (EuDaMuS 2027) are well under way. After the two online Teacher Briefings on 15 September and 7 October, registration is now open for the two activities that need the most preparation, which is why they start this autumn.
Next important deadlines are: 2 November (Music Production Challenge) and 16 November (Music Exchange)!
2 November: Music Production Challenge
New this year, the Music Production Challenge invites students to produce their own take on the EuDaMuS song Together using music technology. They choose which elements of the song to work with, then write, record, mix and bounce their final track. Registered schools receive supporting information by 20 November.
Register for the Music Production Challenge by 2 November 2026.
16 November: Music Exchange
In the Music Exchange, each school records a song from its own country for a school in another country to perform, and in return prepares its own version of the song it receives. Schools are matched by 20 November.
Register for the Music Exchange by 16 November 2026, including the link to your song video.
What happens next
For both activities, the YouTube links are shared by 15 February 2027, and the videos premiere during the EuDaMuS week, from 15 to 19 March 2027. By registering, a school commits to completing the activity. Depending on the number of registrations, it may not be possible to match every school with a partner school in another country.
Leaflets for all five activities, the full calendar, the song Together and every registration form are on the EuDaMuS 2027 page.
Together we can make music education be heard!
