In 2022 EAS starts a new initiative – the European Day of Music in Schools (EuDaMuS), which aims to enable children, teachers, parents, and friends across all Europe to celebrate music education. With a hope to develop this event into an inspiring annual tradition, we announce a theme “The Power of Music” for a first year celebration.

For the second time, the European Association for Music in School (EAS) invites students, teachers, parents, music educators, musicians and friends to celebrate virtual European Day of Music in Schools! Join in this international celebration of music education by making, drawing, listening to, discussing, sharing music with everyone around Europe.

The theme of EuDaMuS-2023: “MUSIC IN US”
The day includes: Music in me – EuDaMuS 2023 – is a jolly song in a rondo form. Sing the refrain (part A) and accompany with body percussion. Create, play or improvise episodes (parts B, C, and D). Use the provided audio backing tracks as an accompaniment. Please, record and send the video to the national coordinator of your country until 15th February 2023 and you will become a part of a majestic international students’ choir/band.
